Description
Used for aircraft and security applications, forms, machines, equipment and devices.
Properties
Suitable for chip removing process (machining). Very high strength. Can be bended and rolled.
Chemical Composition
Zn: 5.1%–6.1%; Fe: 0.5% max; Ti: 0.2% max; Cr: 0.18%–0.28%; Mg: 2.1%–2.9%. Mn: 0.3% max; Cu: 1.2%–2.0%; Si: 0.4% max and the rest is Aluminium.
