Description
Used in aircraft applications for forms, machinery, strengthening, devices and equipment.
Properties
Suitable for chip removing process (machining), bending and rolling. Corrosion resistant. High strength.
Chemical Composition
Zn: 0.25% max; Fe: 0.5% max; Ti: 0.15% max; Cr: 0.1% max; Mg: 1.2%–1.8%. Mn: 0.3%–0.9%. Cu: 3.8%–4.9%. Si: 0.5% max and the rest is Aluminium.
